Diana Niculescu, DVM, PhD
A Veterinarian for Tufts VETS since June of 2008, Dr Diana Niculescu spent the first half of her life in Europe and the following 13 years in Alabama. She earning her Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Alabama in 2000, then continued her education by earning a PhD in Physiological Optics from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2004. She was further awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Niculescu's professional interests include ophthalmology, surgery and imaging.
Dr. Niculescu especially enjoys spending quality time with her Weimeraner, Sterling. In her spare time she enjoys visiting historic sites and tourism attractions, attending concerts and the theatre in addition to hiking, biking and taking long walks.
