April Paul, DVM, Diplomate ACVECC
Specialist in veterinary emergency and critical care, Dr. April Paul has practiced at Tufts VETS since 2003. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Paul earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.
Dr. Paul served a rotating internship at Southwest Veterinary Specialty Center in Tucson, AZ from 2000-2001 along with an emergency and critical care residency at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and Tufts VETS in Walpole from 2002-2005. A diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, Dr. Paul has professional interests in trauma and immune mediated diseases.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Paul enjoys spending her leisure time with her pets. Her pets include a Redbone Coonhound named Savanna and two domestic shorthair cats named Bo and Simon. She also enjoys hiking, biking, rock climbing, kayaking, yoga, fishing, gardening, and weight lifting.
