Christa Regan, DVM
Emergency veterinarian Christa Regan is a Philadelphia native. She earned her undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Brown University. She then researched companion animal pharmaceuticals at Pfizer prior to attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation summa cum laude in 2004, she completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in Weymouth, MA. She was an emergency veterinarian at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in Rhode Island until joining Tufts VETS in 2008. She has special interests in pharmacology and toxicology, trauma and orthopedics.
Outside of the hospital Dr. Regan enjoys spending time with her husband. Together they share their home with Ceili, an Irish Setter mix, Audrey, the three-legged Beagle, and three cats, Oliver, Little Man and Desmond. Other interests include home improvement, knitting and exploring Massachusetts.
