Janet Eckstrom, CVT
Certified veterinary technician Janet Eckstrom is the head technician at Tufts VETS. A native of Brockton, Janet has more than 30 years experience in animal care and has been part of the Tufts VETS team since 1991. She earned her Associate's Degree in Animal Science from Stockbridge School of Agriculture and completed her Lab Animal Management certification from Harvard Medical School.
Janet enjoys working with the dedicated hospital staff and contributing to a team that is committed fully to the animals. She shares her home with a dog named Amelia and three cats: Mr. Spock, Olto and Leo.
Outside of the hospital, Janet enjoys quilting and sewing, gardening, baking, walking and collecting old quilts. She is an active member of the Common Threads quilt guild.
